1st - 5th grade (located in the Outback building)

At Riverside Kids Church, Sunday mornings are a time of discovery, friendship, and faith for elementary-age children. Join us as we embark on an exciting journey of learning about God’s love, exploring biblical truths, and building a strong foundation in Christ.

Through engaging lessons, fun activities, and meaningful connections, Riverside Kids Church nurtures young hearts and minds to grow in their relationship with God. Come and be part of our community of faith-filled adventurers at Riverside Kids Church!

RCC Kids Church Theme Days

Come and experience Riverside Kids Church Theme Days! Held on the first Sunday of each month, our vibrant gatherings offer a new, engaging theme to inspire imagination and enrich faith. Through interactive lessons and creative activities, children embark on a journey of discovery, all while deepening their understanding of God’s love.

Join us on these special days to celebrate creativity, variety, and the joy of learning in a dynamic community of young believers at Riverside Kids Church!

Here's what to expect when visiting Riverside Kids for the first time:

First, you will be greeted by one of our first impressions team members there; they will guide you to our child check-in kiosk. One of our many childcare workers will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

• Parent/guardian name(s)
• Child's name
• Home address
• Phone number
• Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Before Service: You can check in your child at the child check-in kiosk (located in the hallway). After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child must wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child's room and show your tag for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: If we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a text alert on the cell phone number you provided at check-in. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer to direct you to your child's room.

👉 Riverside Kid's Child Safety Policy

Our Workers: To ensure the safety of your children, each of our children's ministry workers has completed and passed a background check.

Our Building: The Riverside security team monitors the building and grounds during service to maintain safety throughout the building and grounds.

Our Parents: We require that parents and guardians remain on the property at all times.

👉 Riverside Kid's Well Child Policy

Children who show signs of sickness will not be allowed into the Riverside Kids Classrooms for the safety and wellness of all.

We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours (without using fever-reducing medications) before entering Riverside Kids.

This is for the health and protection of all children, families, and teachers. You are encouraged to return your child to us as soon as they are well.

Welcome to our Inclusive Children's Ministry! We are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment for all children. Our team strives to accommodate your child's unique needs; however, please understand that we are a volunteer-run ministry with limitations in what we can offer. Not all of our volunteers are equipped to handle every type of special need.

If a child's needs exceed what we can support, and we do not have adequate teachers available, we may not be able to have them in the classrooms. However, we understand that parents may still want to participate, so we offer a "Comfort Room." This space allows parents to stay with their children while watching the live-streamed service on a TV.

To help us better understand and support your child, we have a form available for parents to fill out. Your input is invaluable in creating a positive experience for every child in our ministry. Thank you for your understanding and support!
