What To Expect

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Riverside Church a great one!

  • When are your service times?

    Riverside Church meets every weekend at 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. with our 11:15 a.m. service being streamed online via Facebook.

  • What’s the culture like?

    Sunday's at Riverside Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

    Our vision is to be a Spirit-filled church where people are saved, disciples are made, the gifts of the Spirit are active, and believers are equipped to impact their world. We seek to expand the Kingdom of God in our city, our region, and our generation until Jesus is known everywhere.

  • What about my kids?

    We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Riverside Kids, we make this a priority.


    The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Riverside Kids program the first time that you visit.


    You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Riverside Kids experience. Riverside Kids is offered for kids 2 years old through 5th grade.

Our Beliefs

  • The Bible

    We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

  • The Trinity

    We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19; John 14:26)

  • Jesus Christ

    We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. (John 1:14; Luke 1:34-35; Hebrews 7:25)

  • Sin and Repentance

    We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. (Romans 3:23-24)

  • Salvation

    We believe in that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. (John 3:3; Romans 5:9-10)

  • Sanctification

    We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. (Hebrews 10:10; Jude 1)

  • Holiness

    We believe holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people. (Hebrews 12:14)

  • Baptism with the Holy Ghost

    We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart. (Acts 1:5)

  • Speaking with Other Tongues

    We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:4)

  • Water Baptism

    We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 6:4; Matthew 28:19)

  • Divine Healing

    We believe divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. (Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24)

  • Lord’s Supper and Feet Washing

    We believe in the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; John 13:12-15)

  • Second Coming

    We believe in the second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 20:6)

  • Resurrection and Judgment

    We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. (1 Corinthians 15:51; Revelation 21:8)
