Our Vision
Then the LORD answered me and said, Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that
he may run who reads it. (Habakkuk 2:2)
Connect
It's our purpose and mission here at RCC to see everyone who comes through the doors have the opportunity to connect to the Creator of heaven and earth.
When we worship on Sunday morning, we strive to create an environment conducive to connecting with God. It's not a spectator event or something one just comes to watch, it's a time to have a spiritual connection with God. It's a time to realize how wonderful it is to be able to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and a time to rejoice and praise God for the wonderful things He has given to us.
Grow
However, simply attending a Sunday morning service isn't enough to perpetuate spirital growth in a believer. We also need to spend time studying and learning God's Word, by ourselves and together with other believers.
At RCC, community groups are a great way to do this. If you attend RCC but you're not a member of a community group, we encourage you to get involved. When you link together with other believers and begin delving into the Bible is when you'll truly start to see growth in your life.
Serve
Finally, what good is knowledge of God's Word if you never put it to use? Personal spiritual growth occurs when we connect to God and when we grow together with other believers, but it's accelerated when we begin to serve. A servant's work isn't always glamorous and it isn't always noticed, but it delights the heart of God.
At RCC, we believe everyone should be connected with a group of believers, and should spend time growing in the Word together with them. However, it's when we serve others that we truly answer the call of God for our lives.
